Datakoot for Government Buyers
Most of what an agency needs before it can buy a small software service is paperwork the vendor either has or does not. This page is that paperwork, in one place, with the awkward parts included.
You can buy this today, on a purchase card
The micro-purchase threshold is $15,000, raised from $10,000 effective 1 October 2025. For purchases under it, the Governmentwide commercial purchase card is the preferred purchasing and payment method, and FAR 4.1102(a)(1) exempts those card purchases from SAM registration.

Section 508 — the report exists
A complete Accessibility Conformance Report in VPAT® 2.5 structure is published at datakoot.com/accessibility. It covers WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA and the Revised Section 508 Standards (36 CFR Part 1194, Appendix A, Chapters 3–6), gives a conformance level and a remark for every applicable criterion, and states its test methodology — axe-core driven through Chromium, plus hand-checks of keyboard operation, focus order, reflow at 320 px, computed contrast ratios and reduced-motion behaviour.
All 31 pages were tested, not a sample. It is a vendor self-assessment rather than a third-party audit, and it says so on its face, because a report that hides that is worth less than one that admits it. The data underneath is your own
Datakoot is a read-only access layer. It holds no proprietary dataset and makes no predictions. Several of the sources are federal:

There is no model to explain and no training data to disclose. If you already trust NVD and EDGAR, the only thing left to assess is the layer in front of them.
Security review
The one-page summary is at datakoot.com/security. The short version: the free tier requires no account; queries are never stored; the caller identifier is an HMAC keyed with a secret rather than a plain hash; the only record kept is a four-column counter; and deletion at 90 days is enforced by a scheduled job rather than promised in a policy.
FedRAMP
Datakoot holds no FedRAMP authorization and claims no exemption from your agency’s policy. What it can say is narrow and checkable: no federal information is stored, queries are public identifiers and are not retained, and responses come from public authoritative sources. Whether that places a purchase inside your FedRAMP policy is your determination. We will answer any questionnaire in full.
If the buy is bigger than a card
Above the micro-purchase threshold — or for any purchase order, BPA or schedule — a vendor needs SAM.gov registration, a UEI and a CAGE code. Datakoot does not hold these yet. Registration is free and takes a few weeks including entity validation, and we will start it the day a specific opportunity needs it rather than carry a registration that lapses unused. Likely NAICS: 513210 (Software Publishers) or 518210 (Computing Infrastructure Providers, Data Processing, Web Hosting).
Saying so plainly is deliberate. You will find out at the worst possible moment otherwise.
Terms
Our standard terms are short and in plain English. We understand that federal buyers frequently cannot accept binding arbitration, automatic renewal that binds a future appropriation, indemnification by the Government, or choice-of-law provisions that displace federal law. Tell us what your agency requires and we will work from your paper.
Who you would be buying from
Datakoot is a one-person company in Arkansas. Support email reaches the person who wrote the servers. There is no tier-one queue, no offshore contractor, and no chance of being told your ticket has been escalated.
